My client is a cutting edge Customer Service technology company that provides innovative products for leading organizations worldwide. We are looking for Solution Designer who has a background in software delivery, working through all software delivery phases from either capturing business requirements or where a customer has their business requirements to do requirements analysis, then be able to apply a solution design (functional and technical design) to those requirements. The Solution Designer should be able to plan, execute and deliver the analysis, be able to do it on customer site and prepare any required documentation, presentations and supporting material. The Solution Designer responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:

 

• Where required capture of Customer business requirements and preparation for formal business requirements definition

• To work in collaboration with a solution architect in preparation of technical design and architecture

• To be able to mock up required wireframes to facilitate discussion with the customer

• When working in Agile project be able to work in preparing any required design for user stories

• Provide concise & timely product requirements feedback to Product Management based upon observations of specific customer requirements and general industry trends

• Develop “trusted advisor” relationship with key technical and operational contacts within the customer organization

• Document functional requirements for the proposed solution to be built for the customer

 

What will you need to succeed?

• Communication skills – effectively communicate ideas and concepts to other team members including both Customer and my clients representatives

• Problem solving skills – Ability to resolve problems with diplomacy, either directly or with the Team’s assistance.

• A strong user interface background – able to visualize solutions and build mock-up UI’s for prospective clients.

• Familiarity with HTML, JSP programming, JavaScript is ideal

• Knowledge and understanding of SOA Architectures, basic software architectural principles, and the software development lifecycle

• Understanding of any technologies, such as SOAP, REST, JSON, Java is an advantage
